Address verification is required to purchase phone numbers in most countries outside the US and Canada. Telecom regulations require proof of a local business or residential address.

Once verified for a country, you can purchase any available number type in that country.

Which countries require verification?

The United States and Canada do not require verification. The following countries do require verification: United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Australia, Portugal, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

How do I start a verification?

Use the 4-step verification wizard. Step 1: select the country and account type (Personal or Business). Step 2: enter address details including street, city, state/province, and postal code. Step 3: upload required identity documents. Step 4: provide contact name, email, and phone number, then submit.

What documents are required?

For personal accounts: passport, national ID card, driver's license, or proof of address. For business accounts: business registration certificate, Chamber of Commerce extract, VAT registration, or authorized representative ID. Documents must be PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG, max 10 MB, clear and readable.

What are the verification statuses?

Pending means submitted and waiting to be reviewed. Verifying means currently under review. Verified means approved and you can buy numbers. Partially Verified means some number types are approved with others pending. Rejected means not approved with a reason provided.

Verification typically takes 1 to 3 business days. Processing time depends on country-specific requirements, document clarity and completeness, and current processing volume. Check the Verify page for status updates.

What number types does verification unlock?

Each country has different number types. Netherlands: 085 National and City Numbers. Germany: Local, National, Toll-free. United Kingdom: Local, National, Toll-free, Mobile. France: Local, National, Toll-free. Spain: Local, National, Toll-free, Shared-cost. Belgium: Local, Toll-free, Mobile. Australia: Local, Toll-free, Shared-cost, Mobile.

What is 'Partially Verified'?

Partially Verified means some number types in that country have been approved but others are still pending or require additional documentation. You can purchase the approved number types immediately and click Edit & Resubmit to provide additional documents for remaining types.

What if my verification is rejected?

Accepted Answer

If rejected, you'll see the reason on your verification card. Common reasons include unclear documents, expired documents, address not matching documents, missing required information, or wrong document type. Click Edit & Resubmit, update the documents, and submit again.

Can I delete a verification?

Accepted Answer

You can only delete a verification if its status is not Verified or Partially Verified, and no phone numbers are using that verification. Go to Verify, find the verification, click the trash icon, and confirm. Verified addresses with phone numbers cannot be deleted until those numbers are released.

What is Personal vs Business account type?

Personal accounts are for individuals and sole proprietors and require personal ID and proof of address. Business accounts are for companies and organizations and require business registration and representative ID. Some countries only allow business verifications.

What are city codes (Netherlands)?

For Netherlands city numbers, your address must match the area code of the number you want to purchase. Cities include Amsterdam (020), Rotterdam (010), The Hague (070), Utrecht (030), and many more. Popular cities are shown first, followed by other cities alphabetically.

Can I verify multiple countries?

Yes! You can have verifications for multiple countries simultaneously. Each country requires its own verification with an address in that country, country-specific documents, and a separate approval process. All your verifications appear on the Verify page with their individual statuses.

What information is needed for contact details?

In Step 4 you must provide your full legal name, a valid email address, and a valid phone number. Phone number length requirements vary by country (e.g., 10 digits for US/Canada, 9 digits for Netherlands).

Why can't I buy numbers after verification?

Accepted Answer

If you are verified but unable to purchase, check: Partially Verified status may only cover some number types. The wrong number type may not be covered by your verification. You may have reached your phone number allocation. For Netherlands city numbers, your address must match the area code.

How many phone numbers use my verification?

Each verification card shows how many phone numbers are associated with it. This count includes all active numbers purchased using that verified address, regardless of number type.
