What does the booking page show?

A guided flow with service selection, specialist picker, time slot, customer details, optional photo upload, optional deposit payment through Stripe, and a confirmation screen.

What is a slot mode?

Slot mode controls how customers pick a time. Exact lets them pick a specific timeslot and confirms instantly. Timezone lets them pick a date plus morning, afternoon or evening; you confirm afterwards. Flexible lets them request a range; you pick the exact moment.

How does the specialist picker work?

When a service has multiple assigned team members, the booking page asks the customer to pick one. If the picker is off, Advanced Booking auto assigns to whichever team member is free. The customer sees the team member name on the confirmation.

Can I ask custom questions during booking?

Yes. Add fields under Settings, Booking Page, Custom Fields: short text, long text, choice, yes or no. Fields can be required. Answers are stored on the booking and shown to the team member.

Can customers upload photos?

Yes. Enable photo upload per service. Customers attach photos during the Details step. Photos are stored securely and visible on the booking detail page. There is a per file size limit enforced before upload.

How do deposits work on the booking page?

When a service has a deposit and Stripe is connected, the customer is sent to Stripe Checkout after Details. They pay a percentage or fixed amount, then the booking is confirmed. The deposit is deducted from the final invoice.

What is the outside area policy?

For mobile services, you configure a service area by postcode or radius. Outside area policy options: block the booking, allow with a warning, or allow silently.

How far in advance can customers book?

Booking horizon is configurable under Settings, General. Default is around 14 days. Slots beyond that are hidden so customers cannot book a year in advance.

What about holidays and closed dates?

Under Settings, Availability mark specific dates as closed. They are blocked on the booking page and grayed out in the date picker. Per team member time off blocks only that person.

What happens after the customer books?

Accepted Answer

They get a confirmation page with date, time, and address. They receive an email and optional SMS. A magic link lets them reschedule or cancel without logging in.
