How do I add a service?

Go to Settings, Services, click Add service. Required: name, duration in minutes, price. Optional: description, color, buffer minutes, deposit, and hide price toggle.

What does duration control?

Duration in minutes determines slot size and conflict checking. A 60 minute service booked at 14:00 blocks the team member from 14:00 to 15:00 plus any buffer minutes.

What is buffer time?

Dead time after the appointment ends during which the team member is unavailable. Use it for cleaning, travel, or catch up time. Buffer is not shown to the customer.

How do I set a deposit per service?

On the service form choose fixed amount or percentage of the service price. Requires Stripe Connect. Customer is sent to Stripe Checkout after entering details, booking confirms only when payment succeeds.

Can I hide the price on the booking page?

Yes. Toggle Hide price on the service. The page shows name and duration without price. You still set a price internally for invoices and statistics.

How do I assign a service to specific team members?

Either tick team members on the service detail, or tick services on the team member detail. The booking page only offers team members assigned to a service.

What is the difference between active and inactive services?

Active services appear on the booking page. Inactive services do not appear there but stay valid for existing bookings, invoices, and historical reporting.

Can different team members have different durations for the same service?

Not yet. Create variants like "Classic haircut - master" and "Classic haircut - junior" with different durations, or use the longer duration for everyone.

How do I sort services on the booking page?

Drag and drop in the Settings, Services list. The order on the booking page matches your dashboard order.

What happens to bookings when I delete a service?

You cannot delete a service that has bookings. Deactivate it instead so it stays linked to existing bookings and invoices but disappears from the booking page.
